A tube of fabric has exactly three specifications. We publish all of them.
Customized Neck Gaiters makes tubular neckwear to order — seamless sublimated gaiters, tested UPF 50+ sun tubes, split-tube fleece winter gaiters, fine-gauge merino, convertible multiwear tubes and fluorescent hi-vis with reflective banding.
Fabric weight, construction and rating. That is the entire specification of a neck gaiter, and it is remarkable how rarely any of the three appear on a product page.
So we state the gsm, we say whether the tube is seamless or stitched, and where a garment claims UPF we give the tested rating rather than the phrase ‘sun protective’. Two quotes cannot be compared without those numbers, which is presumably why they go missing.
The third thing we do is say what a gaiter is not. A single-layer knitted tube is a wind, sun and dust layer. It is not respiratory protection and it is not certified PPE, and we will not let it be bought as either.
Why we exist
Gaiters are one of the cheapest branded garments there is, which means they are usually specified by nobody. The result is a scissor-cut edge that rolls into a cord after three washes and a side seam that sits on the throat.
Both are avoidable for pennies. We knit seamless and laser-cut every edge as standard, because a garment that is not worn is not cheap, whatever it cost.
What we actually make
Seamless sublimated tubes with a full wrap print. Light UPF 50+ sun gaiters in tested fabric, made to be soaked for evaporative cooling. Split-tube winter gaiters with brushed fleece at the neck and a lighter knit over the mouth, so breath does not condense into the fabric. Fine-gauge merino for multi-day use, in solid colours with a woven label. Longer convertible tubes with a fold guide printed inside. And fluorescent hi-vis gaiters with retro-reflective banding at head height — sold as a visibility aid, never as PPE.
Adult and youth sizes on everything that a junior section might need.

On what a gaiter can and cannot do
It blocks wind, sun, dust and cold. It does not filter what you breathe, and no amount of layering a knitted tube makes it a respirator.
Hi-vis versions are the same story: fluorescent fabric and reflective tape genuinely make somebody easier to see, and certification still belongs on the vest or jacket. We will not describe a neck tube as certified, because it is not.
